How I Cure My Acne

A lot us suffered from acne at some point in our lives. Me, I've been battling it since I was in highschool. I've tried a lot of anti acne products like soaps, creams, lotions. I even take oral medicines which were prescribed by my derma.
I was in my college years when I first discovered this regimen.

1. Use a mild soap or facial wash. I used ponds perfect care facial wash before.
2. Use eskinol with dalacin c as a toner.
I used the 135ml of eskinol (Classic            White) with 300mg of dalacin c.
3. Use mena cream as my day and night moisturizer.

I did this religiously everyday and viola! No more pimples/acne problems!
You can see the result in just about two weeks. On my first 3 days of using this, new pimples appeared. I guess that's just the purging stage. I also experience peeling for about a week. This regimen is really effective for me. I hope that this blog can help you somehow in minimizing your acne/pimples.
Have you tried this regimen? Tell me about your experience with these products! :)

The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion Review

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to review this faceshop oil control water cushion. I got this for 895 pesos at the faceshop store in the mall.

The packaging looks like this:

Here is the swatch of the product on my hand:

This is what it looks like when blended:
I believe the shades available are apricot beige and natural beige, the latter being the darkest. I got mine in the shade apricot beige which is slightly lighter than my skin tone because I am very acidic and foundations tend to get darker on me as hours passed. I have been using this cushion for a month now. Here are my thoughts on this product:

PROS:
1. It does not feel heavy on the face.
2. The sponge it comes with is so soft.
3. The coverage of this product is good and also buildable.
4. It gives me that glowing skin look.
5. Refillable.

CONS:
1.It accentuates my dry spots.
2. It kinda gives white cast on flash photography since it has spf 50+
3. Slightly creases on my upper lip part
4. Feels a bit sticky if you did not set it with powder.

Overall:
I still love this cushion and I will probably repurchase it because I like the glow it gives on my face. It does not make my face oily given the hot weather here in the Philippines. I also love that it has awesome and buildable coverage. It also does not cause breakout on my sensitive skin.

+ Just make sure to apply moisturizer on the face before using this to avoid dry patches from showing up.
+ Use primer and setting powder to minimize the oiliness of the face and avoid that sticky feeling that everyone of us hate
+ Do not put too much product to avoid caking and creasing.

Have anyone of you tried this cushion already? I'll appreaciate it if you can share your thoughts as well.
